Best Review on Thunder Balance Charger Discharger Software
I purchased this charger from Amazon a few weeks ago. Let me just say you probably don't want to use this charger at it's rated 50 watts. It gets a bit too warm at that level. Try using 40 watts for the max. Remember watts is volts times amps. I couldn't get my computer to work with the charger. Oh Well! I did install rubber feet on top of the feet that are already there to help out with cooling. You can get a whole pack of them cheap almost anywhere. I have watched this charger through many charge cycles while charging just about all types of batteries. I think it does a very good job. Just keep in mind if you want a super duper fast charger you are looking in the wrong place. A real fast charger costs much more. Fast charging also knocks the crap out of your batteries. This charger comes with many charging pigtails. You would pay more for the pigtails if you purchased them separately than you paid for the charger. This makes it a great deal in my opinion. I just have to say it again. This is a very good charger. I liked this charger so much I just pruchased a second one just like it. Just remember one thing. This goes with all chargers not just this one. Never leave a charger unwatched while charging batteries. Especially Lipo's. Always monitor battery temperature as well as charger temperature and follow the manufacturers instructions not only for the battery but the charger as well. Happy Charging!

This charger is a great deal or the price. Mine even came with the tempature sensor. It has worked perfectly since I have owned it. I would refer friends and family to buy this charger.
BalasHapusI bought this charger because it is self contained. My expensive charger a $169 item doesn't have balancer so I had to spend another $45 for balancer and adapter.
BalasHapusThis does everything that I need and it is dual input AC/DC. It comes with a balancing adapter for eflite type batteries which have a .1 inch pitch connector. I had to buy another one for Thunder Power Batteries (about $8).
All in all I am very happy and will recommend this product
This seems to be a very reasonably priced charger that has most of the features of my expensive charger. The best things are that there is no fan, all metal construction, and can be plugged into your wall. Very easy to use. It takes about 72 minutes to charge up my 2200 mAH LiPO.
BalasHapusXheli.com is a great seller for this product- shipped fast and provided a tracking #. Great 5 amp charger, charges up my LiPos and NiMhs to full capacity and does it safely. Comes with temperature probe and many adapters for battery types. For Traxxas, a separate charge lead is necessary. Instructions could be more descriptive and clear- learned mostly by using it and watching youtube videos. Takes 105 minutes to charge an 8000mAH 2s LiPo at 5 amps and 65 minutes to discharge/charge a 3000mAH NiMh. I would absolutely by another one of these.
BalasHapusThis charger chares every kind of battery. i boutght it to ballance charge my lipos for my airsoft gun. it does this as well as my old NiMH batterys comes with a large tamiya connector as well as others that i dont need and plan to cut off the ends and put on ones that i will use such as a small tamiya connector and a deans connector. this charger can discharge and recharge batterys too i used it to do this on my NiMH after only useing the battery for a short time to ensure that the battery doesnt get a memory.
BalasHapusIm an Airsofter and have been wanting a safe and fast way to charge
BalasHapusmy Li-Po batteries that WONT, break the bank.
Getting tired of the steel trash can with sand in it if you know what i mean.
I have done my research and this is the charger to get.
This is hands down the best charger/li-Po balancer out there for under $60.
I use it primarily for 7.4v Li-Poly batteries. Not only does it charge or discharge them
safely and quickly, but it has a comprehensive display so that if I have any concerns,
I can get the proper information with the touch of a button.
The way I see it, you can spend about $10 less for a separate charger and balancer with
not read outs or be smart with your money and get this badboy.
Be smart with your money, BUY THIS!

BalasHapusHere's a quick review so that you can see the charger in action. The charger is a great value as it comes with a ~$15 octopus set of plugs, supports charger software, has a temperature probe and auto cut-off. It is also a dual power charger cability of being plugged into a standar outlet, or being connected to a power supply.
