Read First Before Buy Racers Edge 7 2V 5000mAh Battery
I purchased this charger from Amazon a few weeks ago. Let me just say you probably don't want to use this charger at it's rated 50 watts. It gets a bit too warm at that level. Try using 40 watts for the max. Remember watts is volts times amps. I couldn't get my computer to work with the charger. Oh Well! I did install rubber feet on top of the feet that are already there to help out with cooling. You can get a whole pack of them cheap almost anywhere. I have watched this charger through many charge cycles while charging just about all types of batteries. I think it does a very good job. Just keep in mind if you want a super duper fast charger you are looking in the wrong place. A real fast charger costs much more. Fast charging also knocks the crap out of your batteries. This charger comes with many charging pigtails. You would pay more for the pigtails if you purchased them separately than you paid for the charger. This makes it a great deal in my opinion. I just have to say it again. This is a very good charger. I liked this charger so much I just pruchased a second one just like it. Just remember one thing. This goes with all chargers not just this one. Never leave a charger unwatched while charging batteries. Especially Lipo's. Always monitor battery temperature as well as charger temperature and follow the manufacturers instructions not only for the battery but the charger as well. Happy Charging!

These last about 15 to 20 minutes on full throttle. They work like they should, can't complain about anything with them.
BalasHapusgreat battery at an mazing price it charges fast and holds a charge for a longtime we ran our traxxas r/c truck with dual battaries for a longtime before we had to recharge them and the 5000 give great power
BalasHapusPlugged it in to the charger and then into my ancient futaba. Worked like a charm. Goes as fast as ever.
BalasHapusThis is a great battery! Long lasting charge, came fast in the mail. Uses tamiya plugs
BalasHapusI will buy this again!
no problems with it so far. definitely runs longer than my other batteries. it definitely makes my buggy go faster.
BalasHapusI run a dual motor SCX 10 ,and was running a 3300 pack but my run time was short and my power level seemed low, so I ordered this 5000 pack and it did the trick, very happy with the results ...You can't go wrong with a 5000 pack!!!!
BalasHapusWhat a great battery. I wish I had one 20 years ago when I started electric RC cars. The battery last so long that you don't need 4 off them constantly charging to enjoy your cars.
BalasHapusMy friends told be to go from Nic to Lipo. I like the battery. It takes a little time to charge, but it hold a great charge. I use it for a 1/16 tank that has 2 motors, and other bells and whistle on it. We gave it a full charge and got tired after an hour of running the tank and brought it inside. Works better than the 1700mAh that the tank originally came with and hold a stronger charge. Duh it is bigger. Works awesome.
BalasHapusI normally run LiPo batteries, but I recently got a scale boat and the ESC couldn't handle the voltage of a 2s LiPo, so I picked up this 6 cell NiMH to run in it.
BalasHapusIt came quickly and charged nicely. It holds a good charge and while charging at a decent rate I didn't experience any kind of heat problems.
When I put the battery in the boat, it functioned very well.
Run times were ridiculous with the 5,000mAh capacity with the boat that I have. It's not a fast boat, so run times are generally high regardless of mAh, but with this battery I was able to drive the boat until I was bored...and the battery still had plenty of juice left.
If you're looking for a good NiMH pack with high capacity, this is a pretty good option.
