Best Review on Duratrax Pit Tech Deluxe Stand
I give this car a 5 star rating for a few reasons, price, all in one package, and comparison to friend's cars.
The price is hard to beat. For $200 a ready to drive out of box car is nice, but where it really all ties together is with the all in one package. The car is built well, it comes with a battery, it has a radio, and it comes with a charger. Compared to friends who spent a $100 more for similar packages including motor size, scale, and 4wd it is on par with speed.
My first run only lasted about 10 minutes. I took it on hard compact sand/dirt and it ran like a champ. Similar speeds to a 2WD Traxxas Stampede running a 2S 5000 mAH LiPO, but it ultimately lacked the top speed. After about 5 minutes of on the dirt, I took it to the road. On the road this thing was flying.
This package is great for a beginner into RC cars. I have already purchased an upgrade for it that consists of a 2S 5000 mAH LiPO and charger that has shown to increase speed and runtimes. A must have upgrade for anyone wanting to play with this car more then 10 minutes.

This car stand is nice, you can rotate the car on the stand to do multible tasks, maybe like taking all wheels off or even working on different suspension parts.

BalasHapusThis is a great stand, I have a unboxing video on YouTube (ProperSkill) is my account to see video. It seems tough and swivels well after a drop of shock oil or wd40 or something on the aluminum shaft part. Duratrax has great products and this stand is no different, it's a good deal for the price.

BalasHapusIt works fine on smaller rc cars and trucks (traxxas slash 1/10 and exceed buggies).It does not work on the rc cars and trucks with large tires.

BalasHapusMy husband had this item on his wishlist so I decided to buy it for him. It showed up in a very small box, which shocked me but apparently it doesn't have to be that big to just hold the remote control car up off the ground so he can work on it. He loves it, so I love it too! I think. :-)
BalasHapusThis pit stand is perfect for my Traxxas Rustler VXL. It sits at the perfect height to allow access to almost all parts of the car. The tray is handy and the turntable function is solid. For a basic pit stand, you can't go wrong.
