Lined my new R/C quadcoper with this, only needed about 4 feet, so we lined my buddies too. Wow, does it look incredible! I wish I could get a good video to post, night flying makes focusing a cell camera difficult! I have these connected to a JST connector which is soldered straight to my power distribution board and using a 3S (3 cell) Li-Po battery and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Can't speak too much as to battery consumption just yet, as I only have 3 flights under my belt, but I don't think I notice a difference between the 1 day flight and the 2 night flights.
I regret not getting the waterproof strip, but I figure I don't fly in the rain and when I do break the strip somehow, I'll have enough left from this roll to put it on again. Then I'll get the waterproof strip next time, it was less than $5 more when I checked.

Pro: This red strip comes with a On/Off button. It is rarely found in amazon sellers. Hitlights really gives lots of thought and idea on how to use Strip products. With this ON/Off button you do not have to unplug the transformers or adapter. It will work just like lamp ON/OFF.

Great Light! I put this in a clear plastic tube on a gate- connected it to a 12 volt power and 2months later it still was as bright as in the beginning. The LED's give excellent visibility and I had no problem with its flexibility.
It can be wrapped inside the boat,RV, or car, under cabinet...
Totally, 16ft of LED strip is worth the price. You can cut into lots of pieces to do different projects.

These lights have been awesome! Pretty bright for the occasion. Great for a man cave dim lighting for whatever mood you create. So far have not burned out I have a 30 watt transformer thing. Forget what that modular piece is. But it's awesome will buy again
BalasHapusI ordered these to spice up my sales grid at a craft show and they were absolutely great! The sticky backing made for easy application and lasted throughout the event. I have never seen a product like this and i would definitely recommend this over the tradition rope lights where you would have to clip or tape them and potentially have to keep re-taping because they would fall. These would even be great to use for home decoration under countertops. I plan on using mine in my living room under my curio because I have a red and orange scheme and think they would look beautiful at night!
BalasHapusSo, you normally pay about $10 / 3 ft... ~15 ft for $15, come on, no-brainer. I have these all over my RC biplane and love to fly it at night now! It makes a new challenge and lights up the plane very nicely!
BalasHapusThese LEDs are bright and true to color. The strip to which the LEDs are attached is strong and durable. The adhesive strip on back is excellent and it can be pulled up and "re-stuck" with no problems. If you're looking for LED strip lights, you'll be happy with this product.

BalasHapusI used these with a dimmer circuit I built for footwell lighting in my car. These are bright enough to illuminate the area and the adhesive on the back is still holding to my car after a week.
