Not an R C boater but I consider the over all quality of this boat to be very good. Scale is excellent and construction sound. As with most products today the instructions are less than minimal. e.g. placement of the external antenna, but nothing an experienced modeler would not notice. Hull was watertight on 3 runs. Battery runs cool and provides ample scale power and run time for motor. Charger weak but I use the chargers I have for my electric plane batteries (li-po). Will consider replacing current battery with li-po but will need to consider weight. Currently boat is in trim. This is a good purchase for first time boaters.
