Great Value When Used With (free) ClearviewSE

Read First Before Buy Simulator Control Software Helicopters Airplanes

I bought this (April 2013) mainly for the controller. The FMS free downloadable software isn't even available for download anymore. So I downloaded Clearview SE (free) at [...] and paid $3.99 for my Blade MCPX heli. It took me a while to figure out how to calibrate and set up this USB controller to Clearview SE, but I finally figured it out. Here's how I have this controller set up on Clearview:

Select PPM as the controller

Throttle: (Reverse) Z Axis
Rudder: Z Rotation
Aileron: X Axis
Elevator: Y Axis

Enable Stick Auto Centering when model is reset to initial position.

IdleUp/Flaps Off Y Rotation Off Y Rotation
Throttle Hold/Gear Off X Rotation Off Button 0

Set the Gyro switch towards you and the Mix switch away from you, and turn the Gear knob to halfway on this controller.

After making these selections, be sure to Calibrate your controller, with right stick at middle and left stick all the way down for heli.
