Best Review on Duratrax Evader Brushless 2 4GHz RTR
Some of the bad reviews on this vehicle are questionable. I have owned one of these for the last month. It is a blast. It is a great entry car for a beginner or a kid getting into RC. That being said, it is also a very upgradeable car which can turn it into a racing or bashing animal for the adults looking to rip it up. The weakest links on the vehicle are the shocks, the dog bone rear axles and the steering servo. For $17 you can get CV shafts. For under $25 you can change your rear shocks to aluminum and put heavier weight shock fluid in your fronts and the vehicle is good to go. Lastly, a high torque servo upgrade is a must if driving in tall grass. Mind you, these upgrades are if you are looking to drive extreme. With the upgrades, I have jumped mine off of 5 foot drops and it soaks up the abuse like a champ. Go to youtube and watch some of the Evader abuse/bashing videos and tell me if it looks like the type of vehicle that breaks after driving 50 feet. If you are looking for a good vehicle for the price you should consider the Evader EXT.
