After nearly 20 years of use, I retired my Thunder Tiger Panda RC truck for this. It's RTR (after proper engine break in, instructions really well written and DVD included) and a great car for a basher like me. The EZ start is very cool, basic plug and play. The TRX 2.5 motor is really responsive and fast. I'm not into speed but I can easily see this hitting 50mph.
I worried about going from an old Futaba Controller to the Traxxas TQ but I really had no problem as they are just as functional. It's tough as I flipped it several times and crashed (Zigged into a curb!) it with nothing more than minor scratches.
If you need a great Ready to Run car: This is it. All that it needs is Fuel, charge the EZ Starter Battery and go! IMO, Traxxas knocked it out of the park with the Nitro Rustler. The accessories like the fuel bottle, extra filter, Filter oil, etc are well made too.
This is a cheap entry level RC Remote Control but it performs like any professional level Remote Control, I have use it in a Traxxas Slash 4x4, Traxxas Revo 3.3 and a Losi Night Crawler and in all the feeling is awesome!! Definetly an excellent entry level radio with professional performance and a very low price!!

Bought this to rejuvenate one of my old RC trucks from when I was a kid to play with my son. Price was great, and since I didn't need servos, this was perfect. I had no problems getting this to work, and the range is fantastic. I live in a busy neighborhood, and did not notice any interference. I also didn't see any interference between my other 75 mhz transmitter when running them at the same time. This is a no-nonsense transmitter that does everything you need for running an RC car/truck.

BalasHapusAwesome and inexpensive 3 channel 2.4 ghz setup. Recommend highly. I use the the 3rd channel for a reverse switch on a homemade RC boat. Works great.
